About
Casita La Brea is a family project that was developed in 2016 thinking about offering
accommodation and excellent quality both in infrastructure and equipment. It is located 7
kilometers south of San Pedro de Atacama, on Highway 23 towards Toconao. It has 2
accommodation options: Casita La Brea, an independent house with two bedrooms, for four
persons; and the Studio, a private apartment for two persons.
The house has two large rooms, each with a private bathroom, plus an outdoor shower in an enclosed courtyard for each room. The rooms can be double, twin (two beds a place) or triple (double plus extra bed or three beds a place) each. It has a kitchen / dining room area, and terraces.
The apartment has a private bathroom, plus an outdoor shower in an enclosed courtyard. The room can be double or twin (two beds a place). It has a private kitchen / dining room, and terraces.
Both facilities have electricity based on solar panels, potable water, heating and refrigerator. There is also parking inside the property.

Location
To access Casita La Brea , you can take Route 23 towards Toconao , which is accessed from the Customs in the village of San Pedro . Follow this road for 7 klms and then when in sight with white tire on both sides of the road, take right hand on a dirt road. Follow this dirt road, until you reach another white tire were you need to turn right, keep an eye to your left side since the entrance its the first door from that last bit of the road
